Fresh, Brand-Name Pork Selected Everyday by the Master Chef

Katsukichi is located on the fifth floor of Shin-Marunouchi building right across from the JR Tokyo Station.

The use of wood and various antiques creates an atmosphere of an old Japanese home. The counter is made of a 5-meter long solid zelkova timber. Entering the restaurant, you will face 500 "Soba-choko" (cups for soba dipping sauce) displayed on the wall.

Every morning, chefs choose the highest-quality pork from various domestic brands. They deep-fry the breaded cutlets slowly with fresh vegetable oil at low temperature to bring out the fully flavored crispy tonkatsu. Before the main course of tonkatsu, a salad, akadashi miso soup, three types of pickles and choices of either white rice or Aojiso rice will be served.

The "bishoku" course offers a total of nine dishes starting with appetizers, seasonal sashimi, and assorted deep-fried dishes including pork fillet cutlets, large deep-fried prawns and deep-fried oysters.

カツは低温揚げで供され、その柔らかさは格別。ソースも甘口、辛口、タルタルの3種を楽しむことができ、大満足の巻でした。 Quote from Google Map Review
