Highly Rated Yakitori and Motsu Dishes

Kimimatsu is a family owned restaurant located in a back alley of Senzoku-Dori in Asakusa.

Depending on your seating preference, you will have a choice of counter-type seating, raised tatami-floored seating (''zashiki") or a rectangular dining table.

Apart from the conventional yakitori line ups, Kimimatsu specializes in motsu (offal) dishes with the meat purchased directly from a pig farm in Saitama prefecture.

Pork motsu-nikomi, or stewed pork intestines, is flavored with white miso paste with chunks of daikon radish soaked in a rich broth. Regulars generally order potato salad as a side dish. Other popular dishes include grilled liver, heart, intestines, and liver sashimi.

モツが新鮮で絶品です。浅草の観音裏から少し歩きますが、観光客が少ないエリアでゆっくりと食事を楽しめます。 Quote from google Map Review
