Delicate and Unique Clam-Flavored Salt Ramen

The restaurant is located in Kuramae just south of Asakusa. Kuramae is close to the Sumida River between Asakusa Sensoji Temple and Asakusabashi.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, you will find a vending machine right next to the entrance door. You can pre-order your food at the machine. After you pay it will issue you a ticket stub to give to the staff once a seat is available.

The restaurant specializes in a salt-based soup made with a generous number of clams. The distinct aroma from the broth is very unique; it has a completely different taste from the typical shio (salt-based) ramen. Dark green mitsuba (parsley) atop the ramen also dramatically adds to the aroma and taste. Noodles are handmade at the restaurant; they are thick and chewy. Ramen is topped with pork chashu, a boiled egg, menma and nori seaweed.
