Jimbocho Shokuniku Center Ueno Branch is a short walk from Tokyo Metro Ueno-Okachimachi Station, located at the intersection of Chuo-Dori and Kasuga-Dori. The restaurant is on the second floor of a multi-tenanted building.
With its striking red color and stylish design, it's hard to believe that this is a yakiniku restaurant. The spacious tables with sofa seats are arranged for groups. Beyond the glass windows in the background, you can see the main intersection of Ueno-Okachimachi.
The lunch menu starts by first choosing one course from A through C. Once you are done eating, you can then order two of the following four types of dishes: salted or tare-flavored momo (thigh), miso-flavored p-toro (pork neck), salted liver, and salted hatsu (heart).
There are a limited number of salt-flavored liver and hatsu, so best to arrive as early as possible.
The 45-minute all-you-can-eat meal is reasonably priced at 1,000 yen. Meat served at the restaurant is domestically produced from a partnering farm named Farms Chiyoda located in Bieicho, Hokkaido Prefecture. White rice, onion salad, and soup are all you can eat during lunch hours.
やっぱり、ハツとレバーが美味しい!11時頃並んだのに一陣にはなれませんでした。新鮮なお肉が食べれて幸せです。 Quote from Google Map Review
