Soranoiro Honten is a few minutes’ walk from Tokyo Metro Kojimachi Station in the outer moat of the Imperial Palace.
After opening in 2011, this main branch in Kojimachi was so successful that they have since opened up two more branches – one in Tokyo Ramen Street located in Tokyo Station and one in Kyobashi in Chuo-ward.
Soranoiro Honten is a pioneer in creating a vegan and vegetarian ramen without the use of meat or fish. Ramen has long been considered men’s food in Japan; this makes some potential female customers reluctant to patronize ramen shops. The healthy varieties of ramen provided by Soranoiro Honten have proven popular among housewives and office ladies.
Soranoiro Honten’s flagship or signature menu items are divided into four kinds of ramen: “Veggie Soba”, “Vegan Veggie Soba” “Umami Dashi Soba” and “Shio Dashi Soba”. Veggie Soba is a carrot and puree-based soup with paprika noodles, vegetable toppings, and a boiled egg, while Vegan Vegie Soba omits the egg and adds more veggies. Aside from their standard menu, the restaurant also serves limited-edition seasonal ramens. Those allergic to wheat can request the gluten-free ramen.
外観も可愛くて、女性1人でも入りやすいです。ヴィーガンのメニューもあり、健康志向の人にもおすすめだと思います。 Quote from Google Map Review
