The restaurant is located on Asakusa Kaminarimon Street or within a walking distance of 10 minutes from the Asakusa Sensoji Temple.
There is a green nobori flag to the right of the entrance that will catch your attention. The first floor is for casual dining and the 2nd and 3rd floors are normally used for larger groups or private parties. On the first floor there are counter seats and two dining tables.
Toriyoshi specializes in not only yakitori, but also oyakodon (chicken and egg on rice) and chicken hot pot. Date Chicken grown in free-range or organic conditions are used for their dishes. Management takes pride in their selection of salt for different purposes: sea salt for seafood dishes, mountain salt for mountain grown ingredients, and rock salt for Date Chicken dishes.
The special chicken soup is a dish made by simmering Date Chicken bones and flavored vegetables for 12 hours until the bones begin to crumble.
