The restaurant is located to the north of Asakusa Sensoji Temple in an area known as Ura-Asakusa, (i.e. backside of Asakusa).
Management purchases Kaiji Shamo chicken directly from a farm in Yamanashi prefecture. The whole dressed chicken is seasoned and flavored differently piece by piece at its optimal temperature. Restaurant customers appreciate the chewy and juicy texture of the chicken.
The six-course omakase menu includes homemade liver pate, seasonal appetizers, yakitori and grilled vegetables on a skewer, salad with homemade dressing, and chicken soup. Lastly, you have choices of either oyakodon (chicken and egg on rice) or homemade ramen noodles, both made with Kaiji Shamo chicken and its soup.
Making a reservation in advance is recommend in order to ensure you have secured seats, but it is not an absolute must.
