Mr. Mizuochi, affectionately referred to as Takechan, initially started as a yatai (food stall) before relocating to the current location in 1957. The picture below, taken in 2017, pays homage to the late Takechan, capturing a moment where he can be seen taking care of the bills.


Inside, a white wood counter serves as the stage for skilled artisans gracefully handling charcoal and skewers, infusing passion into every perfectly grilled yakitori piece.
