Hinode-yu is a natural hot spring located in Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo. Conveniently situated, Hinode-yu is merely a 2-minute walk from Inaricho Station on the Tokyo Metro and 7 minutes from JR Ueno Station. The establishment operates from 2:00 PM to 10:40 PM, closing every Wednesday for maintenance.

The bathtubs at Hinode-yu are constructed from precious ancient cypress trees aged between 1,000 and 3,000 years. The ancient cypress exudes phytoncides, plant-derived compounds renowned for their stabilizing effect on the psyche, antibacterial properties, and ability to stimulate metabolism, thereby providing the benefits of forest bathing.

The water at Hinode-yu is drawn from 100 meters underground, comprising 100% natural subterranean water of exceptional quality, requiring no filtration prior to use.

Hinode-yu boasts a carbonated shower facility, where water infused with high concentrations of carbon dioxide is reputed to enhance hair and skin quality, prompting numerous patrons to indulge in this rejuvenating experience after bathing.
